A guy posted a pic from his '88 MC. It happened to have the PCV line directy into the intake maifold. Though, probably not much help for you to lose the spacer, as I imagine you'd need to remove the manifold to drill and tap an outlet. :o(

That was an option I considered. Lose the plate, lower the carb and run the PCV off one of the runners. I was advised not to as it could or would make one cylinder run lean. Sounds factual but who knows. I saw the logic and chose otherwise.:o

Having the PCV going to the intake will cause the same issues some of the '93 through early '95 TBI had when they connected it to the #8 runner, which was that the #8 cylinder ran lean. Definitely better to use the spacer and feed the PCV to it before the intake manifold. Think of a PCV valve as a poorly controlled air leak.
