It's been at least a year, can't remember for sure, but I was driving west on either I-24 or 40 headed home to Ashland City,TN.As I was driving I seen what I believed to have been a late 80's model mastercraft with the 01 on the side, of course it was orange, cross an overpass as I drove under.Has anyone else seen this boat.Is it a mastercraft? I thought it was cool.

IIRC, at the 2004 MC Boat Owner Reunion at the Deerfield Resort, Norris Lake, TN, there was a MC General Lee boat.

Some people on Planet Nautique were discussing the "Dixie" horn and I posted a picture of it over there, then someone else came along and posted the rest of them.

According to a guy on PN who says his cousin outfitted the boat:

"I know that boat real well, as my cousin is the one who turned it into the General Lee. ..... It took him a couple of months but it started off as a brown and tan stars and stripes. My grandmother did the interior and the motor cover is a fiberglass cover off a late model (2000-2002) MC. He sold it b/c he was constantly getting stopped from people who wanted to look it over and it is hard to wakeboard behind it. And yes he did have the horn."

When i read the article originally, the motor box is from a moomba, which would be consistant with the non-covered box with the seat on it.

Yeah, I noticed that in the ebay auction. I think the only MC that had a plain glass box was the 99 pro star. Whatever the case, it all looks pretty cool (on someone else's boat). That is to say, very nice custom work on this one.

Johnny, my original thought's were you could put a HEMI in that 35th and paint yours orange.Your kind of cute like Bo Duke.

I don't even like to hook my boat to a Dodge, much less soil it with Dodge parts.

Cute like Bo Duke??? Is that what Lisa said??? 8p

I know I have some more pics of it on my PC at home. I just have the int shot posted above and this one. I saved it 7.14.05.

[edit] I should read through the other threads for air horn comments.

Johnny, that's to bad cause that fuel filter is for a dodge that we put in the 35th.
Ryan thanks for the pictures if you have more I would like to see them.I have wondered about ordering a solid orange boat ever since I saw that one but I guess since there can only be one General Lee.I would have to put GO VOLS on it .What do you think Johnny.

You put GO VOLS on that boat or any boat you own, you will be on divorce court next week.

Weird how this boat came up. i was just telling the wif that WHEN we win the lottery, that I was going to have a second boat done up like the General Lee. I'd even find the wheels for the trailer. And have a bimini top done like the conf. flag.
