Today, the divers were out on the lake, like they usually are on weekend mornings. My dad and I were tearing siding off of my grandpa's barn, when my mom comes and says the divers were in trouble. So we rush down to the boat, speed over to the public park, and make sure everyones okay. My dad gets out of the boat goes up on shore and gets the doctor next door to the park (good skier, skied for Michigan State).

Apparently a 12 year old boy got his regulator stuck in an underwater rope (helps divers find sunken boats) and he panicked. His mother (I believe) saw that he was in trouble and helped him up to the surface, which then she lost her strength and nearly drown. But a fisherman, who was idling by, saw the situation, jumped out of the boat, brought the boy in; and performed CPR. He is the life-saver if anyone is, the other divers DID NOT know CPR! We found the fishermans lucky hat (save that for later).

By this time several people had called 911. Ambulances rolled in about 10 minutes later. Both divers were breathing on their own; but the boy was screaming so loud and harsh it put chills up my spine. The woman seemed to be okay, and the boy also in good condition was Aero-Med-ed to the hospital. As far as I know, everyone is O.K.:) :woohoo:

Yeah but the boy was under for 5minutes so they're worrying about brain damage. Oh, and the lucky hat we returned to the fisherman, and he was glad to have it back. (gotta remember what state we're in)

Inexperience and lack of a certified instructor are a dangerous mix.

My wife and I saw a guy (not part of our group) run out of air while diving in Hawaii, luckily our dive master took control and saved the guy who was totally out of control. Turns out this guy was part of one of these limited depth, no lessons, dive group. All the instruction he got was on the way from the dock to the dive site!

8p No problem, if you HAVE to see pictures try this (http://www.ensleytownship.org/parks.htm)

The park is horrible!! (everyone who owns property on the lake hates it, for rowdiness, trash, but most of all put in wallys:mad: )

I did take these pics in an earlier thread (http://tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=17761&highlight=Cool+Morning+Michigan)

Since you feel the Moderators are being unfair, I have edited it. Surely things would be different if TMCNo1 were a Mod.
