Wow! Purdy! Is it a Power Slot?

It is a sweet boat:cool: . I don't remember if it is a slot or not.... hey that rhymes:rolleyes: . They are asking $41K and it has about 120 hours on it. It is a ski school boat in Southern Wisconsin.

I wonder how many 2007 190s were produced? I bet you could count them on one hand.

We need to start a movement to get the closed bow ski boats back on the market.........if you want an open bow, buy a Bayliner or a Sea Ray. Ski boats have closed bows.......it's just the way it is. Who's with me here?:uglyhamme

Closed Bow Boats RULE!!!!!!!

We have a 190, but now wish I got the 197 for the extra room.

In our situation the extra storage is worth a lot more than a smaller open bow seating area. It is amazing the amount of stuff you can fit under there.

Dang, that is one of the coolest color schemes I've seen (yes, I see it every time I log on, but nice to see some more pics of it). Those colors look so good together! C'mon Doug, buy it to keep it in the TMC family!

I still think you should buy the 35th Anniversary 190. It's about 6k cheaper and rare.

I think 137 was asking about the boat in the pic at the top quite a little bit!

8 in 2006 if my information is correct.

Can't afford the price tag unfortunately. And still wondering if it's a powerslot. Couldn't tell from the prop picture.

What he ^^^ said.

closed vs. open bow? Now that I have an open bow, I kinda like it. It's nice to escape up into the front seats to relax away from crowd. It's pretty comfy up there. And how much storage do you need? My 197 has plenty. oh no , another one of those foolish 197 owners that thinks he doesn't need all the fabled closed bow storage.

what are you thinking shepherd? you know buying an open bow tournament boat is just silly.

I'm no math expert, but it seems to me that a 190 in 2006 is more rare as a 190/197 35th anniversary boat. 8p

If Doug's info of 8 190s in 2006 is correct that makes the 190 more rare than a 35th 197. And just about as rare as a 190 35th. That is more than likely the only 2007 190 with that color scheme.

Edit: Doug types faster than I do.

I still think you should buy the 190/35th. 8p :D It has more options and a little more bling. Just my opinion. The other one is a nice boat also.

That "fabled" closed bow storage is just wasted space.

I'll admit, the 190 is a much nicer looking boat.

I would disagree that the storage under the bow is a waste of space. Life jackets, skis, coolers, dry clothes, towels, wakeboards, ropes, more coolers, and anything else you need. I usually have no more than 4 people in the boat (no friends:rolleyes: ) so an open bow is a waste of space. I will say however the 2001+ 190s have a much better set up with the storage under the sunpad, whereas my 1995 did not have that.

There is just something about the clean, sexy lines of a closed bow MC:cool:

Theres another Doug that likes 190's :( 8 in 2006?? I think I'm gonna cry. I love closed bows.

I'm guessing that that boat is Protour Red, with Slate Gray. Its a little ghetto for me, but I couldn't complain.

Did I mention I LOVE 190'S!!!

I don't get you close bow lovers. I do admit that they look great. Aside from that, what will you really store there? Life jackets

Are your ski buddies really taking their vests off between sets, moving passengers, and putting wet vests under the bow?

skis

OK but enough room in the locker for 3 of them. Inconvienent between sets to move people and lift seat. Plus you can just put them on the tower.;)

coolers

Well everyone knows the cooler goes behind the driver seat. Plus if you are just skiing, how much are you going to drink.

dry clothes, towels

Plenty of room under the seat in the open bow for these items.

wakeboards, ropes, more coolers, and anything else you need.

Aside from a spare rope, any closed bow owner will not need any of these items.

I usually have no more than 4 people in the boat (no friends so an open bow is a waste of space.

I think I just proved that a CLOSED bow is a waste of space.:D

There is just something about the clean, sexy lines of a closed bow MC:cool:

Again, I AGREE.:)

As a prior owner of an X7 and a 190 prior to that. I will probably own another closed bow next, if not it will be a bigger boat with a USEABLE bow. The looks of a closed bow can't be matched, and frankly, on the small ski boats like the 197/X7 the bow is almost unusable (read: bow dips with any weight up there) Of the three MC"s I've owned I miss my 95 PS190 the most by far.

No tower for me:D

the big cooler with beverages does usually go behind the drivers seat, but what about the other cooler with lunch in it? Who said we were "just skiing"?;)

Plenty of room under the seat in the open bow for these items.

Can you really fit a wakeboard under there? We don't wakeboard a lot, but I do have a friend that likes to screw around on one on occasion

My main experience has been with the smaller 1995 Prostar 190 that has no additional storage. I will say the EVO I have now is a much better design with the rear storage compartment.
