This is a computers version of a corrected picture.:)My boat is that same color yellow. I've noted too that if the light is low, photos of it definitely tend to look orange.

My wife and I live in Bloomington Illinois, we go to table rock a couple times per year to visit her parents. A 30 minute drive would be nice lol its about 7 hours for us. :-)

Our drive back after picking it up ran us through a big ol rainstorm so the boat was filthy - here are some pics after i had finished cleaning it up.

I grew up in Morton, IL down the road from you and then lived in Peoria, IL for a number of years. Now living in God's country up north in Minnesota - boaters paradise. Just curious - where did you purchase the boat from and where do you boat locally? - We didn't see a lot of inboards in Central Il. when we lived there 6 years ago. We did most of our boating on the Illinois River - nasty water - but we sure could find some smooth water - especially south of Pekin, IL.
Congrats on owning a great looking MC!

We purchased it in shell knob missouri - however there is a new dealer here in Farmer City about 20 mins southeast of bloomington. My wifes family has a lake house on table rock lake in missouri so last time we were down visiting we saw this yellow and black x15 at the dealer in shell and loved it.

there are a few places around... lake springfield, clinton lake, illinois river just to name a few... you're right though, not many inboards in central il at least... kind of an oddball thing to trailer around i guess lol

Yea, we used to get some weird looks when we were driving around in our Nautique - but I am sure you certainly turn some heads. I have read good things on this thread about the dealer in Farmer City. I have some good friends that ski on a private lake near Galesburg - Oak Run. You have to own a lot just off the lake to be able to have a boat on the water.

Love the Hawkeye Logo Farmer Ted! (former Iowan here!). I imagine that wouldn't go over too well in Missouri OR Illinois! We love our X-15... and know you will to... after boating for 35 years... was really surprised how much a single boat could really change the sport for me!

Great looking boat. We've been very happy with our X-15. You going to leave the carpet out of it?

Holy posts batman, i'll have to check the site more often lol... thanks all for the comments and compliments - we're really excited to get it out on the water again soon. :-)

I took the carpet out to clean it out - got pretty dirty on the drive home as we ran into a rainstorm and didnt have the cover on it (dealer had to order a new one because the original was ripped). I didnt think we would hit rain because it was sunny the entire drive home. Once the rain hit, i pulled over and yanked out the carpet... i'll have more pics soon once we get it out on the water... :-)
