Talk to Pilot02, he just finished doing a TriStar himself!

At least he could give you some idea of cost, even if someone like him did it for you professionally.

A friend of mine had their 190 done a few years ago due to Tornado damage, and I believe it cost them around $9,000. This was for almost the entire boat, though.

A neighbor just redid his 22' Schiada... it was in the ball park of $7,000. He stripped EVERYTHING out of it. He literally had the hull tie-wired to the trailer because he had no bow or stern tie-down eyes!

Just a question.... is your boat in the bad of condition? Do you just want new colors?

One of my best friends just redid his 20' schiada. It had some baby blue accents that he did not like and some deep gashes on the hull from its old racing days. He had the gouges repaired, the hull color sanded and then the ugly gelcoat colors re-shot. The baby blue went to royal blue, the faded redish orange went to fire engine red and yellow went to orange.... this cost him ~$3200 and was a much more cost effective alternative and his 1974 boat looks like a 2007!!

Here it is when he first bought it..... (you can not see all the gouges in the white and the oxidation in the gel, but it was BAD!!)

And after everything was finished....

it has some gouges and i would like new colors, but for 9 grand i think it will just stay the way it is.
although if i could change colors the way your buddy did i might consider that

I was quoted about 2500.00 and that was just gel coating everything above the "new" waterline to and above the rub rail. I wanted more of a solid red than what is currently on the boat.
