 I have a new x 14 with the LY6 (400hp) that keeps overheating. The dealer has scoped it, replaced the two sensors, fiddled and well...nothing. Apparently, the tips of one of the exhausts "blew off" one exhaust section today on a water test and the boat took in a bunch of water...hmmmm

Any ideas out there? This will be the second weekend in a row without my boat if I don't give the guys in the service department something else to try first thing in the a.m. They are talking with Mastercraft so they say but frankly I am not sure.

Drill the water by-pass hole out to .300 (on the thermostat) and make sure it is clocked at the 4 o'clock position...this should fix it.

MC does not have a procedure for addressing this, it was developed here in house.
