I've been trying to replace my a bad rocker switch for my 1987 prostar for my automatic bilge. I can't locate one through my dealer. Anyone know any reliable dealers who can locate this???? Any tips on installing it? I would think to just replace old one and switch wires from old to new. Thanks for any advice.
Had the same problem with my nav switch. You should be able to find it at any marine store. Cost was about 15 bucks cuz they are illuminated. Installation is quick if you can pop just the switch out (my wires weren't long enough) a little slower if you can get the panel off and a little slower than that if you have to pull the whole dash face. Pull the old one out first to make sure the new one has the correct number of poles.
Here's where I got mine;
