Anyone had any experience with putting a wake tab on a 95 200VRS ??? It would be great to hear things like what size plate you used and your overall opinions on how well it worked.

From what I could find on the posts, it looks like the plate will be the best option to control the porpoising under speed as well as being retractable for a better wakeboarding experience.

I did the research and I looks like Bennett, Lanco or Insta-Trim tabs would be about the best options.

Cheers
Dave

boat that have these tabs have hulls without hook in the hull like the tige. Putting a set of tabs on a boat that has hook in the hull like your will acomplish nothing in getting the wake larger. You might make it smaller and it might help with the porposing

Do you think it would improve the slalom wake on a 209/X9 (has hook)?...

I dont think so because it would mess with the table a lot. Some 209/X9 got more hook added in at the fiberglass shop to help with the wake and porposing. The bigger the boat the bigger the wake. You might be able to do a search and find more details.
