Its time to order a new PS 197 - Any one have any thoughts on colors?
I have to be able to sell these boats pretty fast so I don't like to get too crazy.
Any thoughts on this? Too Much?

Too much, but that's just one man's opinion. I'd stay classic. White deck and hull bottom, keep the color patters in between.

Agree with Tx, ask a older conservative salesman to design the colors if you want to resale quickly. Likely to be lot of white and maybe blue or red.......

I'd say most mastercraft owners and buyers are pretty conservative (judging by the presidential pole), so I would stick with the basics too. To answer the question I believe it is a little much.

I agree that it seems a little much if you desire a quick sale.

I really like the Topaz, Choclate or Khaki color schemes.

Visibility on the water ould be an issue though. It is hard not to see a bright red or yellow boat.

I made that same boat the other day but my boat had a white deck and a blue stripe. Those are cool colors you picked. It sure wont get lost in a parking lot.:toast:

I agree with Tx also. I would call a few mastercraft dealers and mastercrast sales dept and ask what has been the biggest selling color over the past few years, they will know.

i would also stick with the classic colors, the red deck is just a little to bright for my taste. but i do like the boat that powerslot is showing

I thought the boat they used on the prostar commercial on Rewind 2005 was beautiful. Had a classic color scheme (sort of like Mark P's 93 205. White/Blue/Red/Gray/White (or some variation of it.

Probably a little much for a quick sale. My dream boat is something close to that . Make the top deck white and make Hull 3 yellow. Leave everything else the same. A little more bling with the metal flake and the small yellow stripe but still a general red white and blue scheme.

By the way how do you capture the images off of the MC website to post? I can not for the life of me figure it out.

I am sure there are other and better ways, but I use Print Screen and then paste to a photo edit program.

Stay away from that metal flake if you want quick resale. I've always been partial to black. Keep the decks white or ivory.

This works almost everywhere and I'm pretty sure on this.

Right click, save picture as.

I would see if they would copy the color scheme of the Team Edition hull for you. That was one of the best I have seen in a while.

Right click, save picture as.Won't work on the design a boat site....but you will get a cool drop down menu that will let you zoom in.

Mag; You're right, my mistake, it's a Macromedia flash object. Then you can capture with Ifranview also.

6 balls I'm guessing your a promo rep - from the need to sell fast? If so(if not ok too) I found it always easier to dump "good old" red and white. The hardest to get rid of was black and stone - I thought it looked great but it was a hard sell. The blue and white sold well but both red and white ones went very quick.

I would've suggested those colors, too, but I have an obvious bias.

/I see you've got one, too. :toast:

Hey guys, your forgetting one thing. Chicks dig things that sparkle. Chicks dig flake. My last sammy 209 had the flake. I had no problem selling it. I actually had a guy drive from a couple states over for it.

 I hate to say it but I like the yellow surrounding the gray marble/flake.
Even set off with the orange accent it looks cool! Can't go wrong with yellow, white and gray. Interior the same, white and yellow. It may be a "Hoosier" thang!
