Nice Tutorial!!!
Photobucket is blocked where I work... I personally use tinypic.com. It is actually simpler than photobucket and doesn't require registration or sign in. Check it out.

by using someone else to host your pics, you can add 4 images to your post

smilies/emoticons count as one image:(

Milk, I assume that you're doing this to help me out in my quest to post some OLD pics from my 35mm days, And I certainly appreciate it! I found some good ones the other day that this forum needs to see. Only problem was they showed up too small! I hope this helps! You ARE the man! Thanks, DOG

not a problem!
if you have difficulty, either ask or let someone know, and you can email them, and they can upload them and send you the URL to use in your own post:)

as per my PM, you'll see how the images show up larger once they're hosted offsite

we're here fer ya, buddy:cool:

Tip: Photobucket isn't just a great place to upload your images and photos. You can upload all your videos too! And create fun slideshows and remixes to share with your family and friends.

also note,
by using photobucket, you are not constricted by the board's file size for pics;)

After you have uploaded 2 to 4 pictures into manage attachments, go to the box above your typed text, to the right of font, color size, etc. and click on the paperclip and a box will come up with your attachments listed an on the bottom, it will say "insert all", click it and the attachments will be listed in your post, then, submit. Your pics won't have the box around them and say attachments, but will simply be pictures with your text.

Now that's something I don't understand? After uploading 2 to 4 pics, you don't have the paperclip still at the top next to the white smiley face?

Milk, just attach a pic as normal, upload it, then repeat the steps. It will have a box that says "Current Attachments" that keeps the attachments.

pm me the link, I'll host it, and send you the link back to use

or

send me the link, and I'll try using it as a avatar......

or

save the pic (photobucket) to your computer... get the size down to 80 x 80 pixels, then go into control panel and get it from your computer.

or

take the pic, get it down to 80x80, then re-upload that to photobucket, and try THAT url

probably saying it's a bad url because the pic is probably normal sized

hollar if you need help getting it to 80x80:)

note:
I tried uploading the url of this pic from photobucket http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a112/milkmania/eddie.jpg

and it failed, but I can save it to my computer and attach it in control panel

yeah I still haven't figured out this computer yet!! that's why I really liked the photobucket advice it was very cool I can post picts again. Maybe, those pics I had in photobucket I had uploaded there with the old computer so hopefully this one isn't too different!!
