I'm looking at new bindings, has anyone experience with the Connely draft hinged binding? I get up on 2 and drop ( at 46 years old things change a bit ) so I need to get the rear foot in the binding and need easy entry. Is this binding supposed to hold your feet in during a fall or allow them to pull out ? Or is there something I'm missing out there?

I hear the drafts are cool from a 41' off skiing friend, but have not tried them.

Drafts are really high end bindings. If you aren't a shortline course skier, stay away from them.

i ski on the draft bindings... from the sounds of what you want the drafts are not for you... although they are really easy to get on and off they are not easy enough that you could slide your foot in while skiing...
