"TOP TEN" REASONS TMC OWNERS WEBSITE SHUT DOWN.

#10 REASON- ITS FINALLY WARMING UP AND SOMEONE FORGETS TO TURN ON THE SERVER AT MASTERCRAFT

#9 REASON- MASTERCRAFT PAYS THE BILL VIA PAYPAL... PIN # IS CHANGED FROM A EMAIL ASKING TO "UPDATE ACCOUNT"

#8 REASON- SOMEONE TRIES TO UPLOAD A PICTURES OF A MOOMBA, THINKING THAT IT IS A "UNIQUE MASTERCRAFT" SITES REJECTS PHOTOS AND CRASHES.

#7 REASON- ROB MAY GETS ANOTHER EMAIL FROM BAY AREA WATERSPORTS TO GO TO THE "SWIMSUIT SECTION" MARKETING CLOSES ON FRIDAY TO VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS...TT ADMIN IS IN THAT MEETING AND IS MEZMORIZED AT THE PHOTOS... FORGETS TO PAY THE BILL

#6 REASON- ALL 2 "CORRECT OWNERS" LOG IN IN TENN. THE SYSTEM THINKS THAT THEY ARE HACKERS, THEY ARE! SYSTEM DOES'NT KNOW WHAT TO DO !

#5 REASON- IT TAKES OVER 3 DAYS TO DELETE THE LARGE FILES FROM THE SWIM SUIT THREAD.

#4 REASON- SOMEONE MISSPELLS "ZANE SCHWENK" AGAIN...SPELL CHECK DOES'NT CATCH IT AGAIN AS A "LEARNED NAME" SYSTEM RETALIATES. SYSTEM COMES ONLINE AT 0230 ZANE'S BEDTIME AND CRASHES

#3 REASON- OWNERSHIP GROUP AT MOOMBA WAKES UP FROM A LONG DEEP SLEEP...LOGS ONTO THE MC WEBITE FINALLY REALIZING THAT THEY STILL DON'T WORK FOR MASTERCRAFT

#2 REASON- JIMH LOGS IN FROM WISCONSIN... THE TEMP IS STILL "ABSOLUTE ZERO" UP THERE ALL MOLECULAR MOTION SEASES

#1- MALIBU OWNERS THINK THAT THEIR BOATS ARE AS GOOD AS OURS, GET JEALOUS, AND TRIES OVERLOAD THE SITE WITH "WOMEN IN BATHING SUITS" SYSTEM THINKS THAT THEY ARE DOGS AND CRASHES

It's raining here in Tampa finally...and I am bored. Hope you guys are out skiing...if you are not come up with your own "TOP TEN"

Guys don't neccessarily need to be sensitive, women just need to understand the rules!

The Guys' Rules
At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down. Finally, the guys' side of the story. (I must admit, it's pretty good.) We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note... these are all numbered "1"ON PURPOSE!
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.
1. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't expect us to act like soap opera guys.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also afruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine...Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball, the shotgun formation, or monster trucks.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round is a shape.
1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight; but did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.

This has always been a favorite of mine. Let me know if it's too much!

How to Shower Like a Woman...
1. Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks.
2. Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.
3. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make mental note to do more sit-ups.
4. Get in the shower. Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah, and pumice stone.
5. Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins.
6. Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean.
7. Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner enhanced with natural avocado oil. Leave on hair for 15 minutes.
8. Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red.
9. Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash.
10. Rinse conditioner off hair.
11. Shave armpits and legs.
12. Turn off shower.
13. Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower. Spray mold spots with Tilex.
14. Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country. Wrap hair in super absorbent towel.
15. Check entire body for zits, tweeze hairs.
16. Return to bedroom wearing long dressing gown and towel on head.
17. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.

How To Shower Like a Man...

1. Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile.
2. Walk naked to the bathroom. If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the 'woo-woo' sound.
3. Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your wiener and scratch your ***.
4. Get in the shower.
5. Wash your face.
6. Wash your armpits.
7. Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off.
8. Make fart noises (real or artificial) and laugh at how loud they sound in the shower.
9. Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area.
10. Wash your butt, leaving those coarse butt hairs stuck on the soap.
11. Shampoo your hair.
12. Make a Shampoo Mohawk.
13. Pee.
14. Rinse off and get out of shower.
15. Partially dry off. Fail to notice water on floor because curtain was hanging out of tub the whole time.
16. Admire wiener size in mirror again.
17. Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, light and fan on.
18. Return to bedroom with towel around your waist. If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake wiener at her and make the 'woo-woo' sound again.
19. Throw wet towel on bed.

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Application such as PokerNight 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite application. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,

A Troubled User
_____________________________________________

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem about which men are complaining.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstalled, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warning-Alimony/Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background Application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C;\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5, and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstance, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support

Besides.....I think I'm going to take a break here from females, at least one's that I care about. I take a lot of flax from guys like Rick, and that's  , but I can't change the fact that I'm a "nice" guy. Maybe, just maybe, I'll run into a woman that appreciates a guy that opens doors, that makes sure she gets that perfect first cup of coffee in the morning, some one that gives up his time to takes care of her after surgery. And hopefully this person will be mature enough to communicate when small problems arise and not completely shut down and slam a door in my face. :twocents:

I didn't realize the annual fee automatically gets deducted from my account several times a day. Heaven forebid she has a day off of work....that gives her more time to spend money. I go to home depot, spend 100, get home and catch grief. She went last week, came home with an agreement to install granite countertops and I catch grief that I'm not excited. Man, go figure. That's alot of gas money and many water toys we 'could' have had. BOYS, if your thinking about getting married.......look at the mother, that's what you'll have in 10 years. And, she does keep those exposed body parts coverred. Cheers. This is great. Thank goodness I've got two great kids and a boat! :toast:

Congrats on the granite!! What color did “you” pick. Actually, an investment in the kitchen is smart. You’re a lucky man to have a girl that understands that. About the home depot thing. I explained to my girl 20 years ago that if I spend 500 at the Home Depot its 2500 that we don’t give to a contractor. If I spend 100 at the State store that’s 600 that I don’t spend at the bar. Communicate brother, communicate,:D .

Hey, don’t forget to get some shots of that granite..

But I come home everynight and do the family thing from Monday to Friday and help cook when she is busy with homework.

What was the problem with the site?If you took time to read what was posted by TT Admin,
you would know.

TTAdmin,
Houston we had a problem.... 02-27-2005, 09:46 PM

- Oh boy....

The site was locked by the hosting company due to excessive cpu usage.
I didn't get notice of this until Saturday afternoon so it was down for a while. I spent my weekend trying to contact the hosting company to work things out. I'm not sure what caused this but I took the time while this was being worked out to update the entire site (forum and photo software). I have not had the time to surf through everything to make sure it works but everything should be fine. If you find something not working correctly please let me know. Sorry for the down time and I appreciate everyone's patience.

Oh come on guys? You should not have to ask anyone how to spend your own hard earned money, nor should she have to ask you how to spend her money. Couples should have their separate accounts and then have a joint account for “joint” purchases such as capital improvements. I know I am not the only one who thinks this???

I think it all depends on personalities and what kind of relationship you have with your spouse.

I don't like to shop and don't make foolish purchases, same for my husband. We trust each other with money. We both carry check books and credit cards and all our money is in joint accounts. Frankly, I really don't care what my husband spends "our" hard earned money on but that's mostly beacause I know he won't do something stupid with it.

I agree with you that you shouldn't have to ask anyone how to spend your money. With us, we don't ask, but if it's something big (boat) we always discuss it first. I believe it should be this way in every household but I also realize that everyone is different. I do know people (both male and female) who can't be trusted with money. If they have it (cash, cc, checkbook) they'll spend it. In those situations separate accounts might be a good idea. Therapy might also help! 8p

Atlftr; She will enjoy listening to those great tunes when sitting on the lake!

To the real life question of money, I think each person needs to feel they can buy stuff and in general you need to discuss all spending, but you'll never always agree. You need to be able to spend, even when the other person thinks its stupid. I don't know why my wife needs another pair of shoes that hurts her feet, and we don't even go out very much anymore with the kids activities, and I'm sure she can't understand why I have wakeboard, snowboard, snow skiis, several water skiis and wanting another one......so we understand each others weaknesses.....

LOL I think you know the answer to that question. :twocents:

Yeah, good comment and your idea of therapy is a great one, but I am saying do it before getting married. I understand that most marriages end over "problems" handling money - then work out those details ahead of time. Marriage is a contract and should be considered as one. I am probably OCD but I MUST have a budget so that I can tell where the money is and where it has gone...pie charts and Quicken are great!

ixthus (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/member.php?u=15) - I'm with you on the finances.... We are a 1 income family and there can ONLY be OUR money. We buy what we want and don't have much of a problem (well - We don't have a problem, I do - but that's a different page)

However - if there are 2 incomes, I think that seperate accounts are a great idea. Divide up the regular bills fairly based upon income & have the rest in "seperate" accounts. That way each person can do what they want with any "extra" that may or may not be left over.

lakes Rick

Mag I dont think your gay.. All these women our age are menopausing and now they are REALLY psycho......

Finances.....

I truly think there needs to be ONE person in charge of finances. Too easy for both people to over spend.. Each take an allowance and for large expenditures it must be a decision together, but overall one person oversees it. Just like a corporation.. If there is a problem with spending or what to spend it on, the problem is alot bigger than joint accounts.....

I always had to pay taxes at years end when married. Found out my EX was not paying anything and I paid it at tax time... ALWAYS be careful when things dont add up correctly....

I think lakesrick has a very good point. I handle 95% of the 'bill paying' etc. It's that other 15% that kills us. Her 5 and the 10 that I thought I could get away with. If I kill my 10%, I probably wouldn't stress so much.

Professor

Well, mostly my point was that a couple should work out the details of their marriage BEFORE they get married. They should be able to work out an estimated budget and make periodic adjustments (capital improvement budget for items such as white goods). They should make decisions…such as…never borrow money for a large item that will not increase in value. Good site for this is http:/www.clarkhoward.com
Yeah, I know I will be hit on this again…but maybe I just love accounting

I'd have to handle the finances if I every re-married....which will be never.....as i do all the accounting for my business now. Not sure if I want someone else taking care of over a 1/2 mill in sales.

We try to keep everything on one credit card, Discover, even my work travel, with 1% back. That nets another $60 monthly typically. Also pay all bills via on one on line account. Sometimes we get upside down, but pretty easy to figure out who did it and where!

AMEX has a good cash back card if you are a Costco member. I think you can get up to 3% on some types of purchases and 1% of everything else.

AAA has a nice one that gives you money back on gas purchases (up to 5%). Good for us big engine types!

I also have the REI card. You get 1% back in store credit and get the full 10% dividend instead of the usual 8% something when using a credit card.

And for those of you playing the balance transfer game (how I think I'm going to finance the honeymoon until I start getting a paycheck again) Chase has 0% until May 2006!

sfitzgerald351

I don't like the air miles cards because most have a $60 (or more) annual fee. By the time you get a free trip you've spent $120 - $180 in fees which is the cost of a flight most places these days. With another card you'd get $$ back and still come out okay on the flights.

MasterMason

I don't have one, but most of the major airlines have a program. My buddy uses united, and he goes to some sunny warm spot every year just by buying his gas and groceries with it, and paying it off at the end of the month.

that reminds me, I use a gm card and buy just about everything but gas each month on that one card

I dont know if there's a limit but that card had $1300.00 bonus accrued that I was able to use toward a new truck

I literally made a final deal and then said, "hey check and see what amount I've earned on this card" (I already knew how much was there but you know how those sales guys are  )

Worked out rather well since I was spending that money each month anyway.
