It does lack wind protection though. Needs lots of tall trees around it.

Any idea what their water source is? I would "assume" they hit a spring or drilled wells to fill it, as it does not appear that any streams run through, nor that they would benefit from any type of runoff.

Where is that, Rod? (the first one)

I keep lookin' for a nice flat piece of land with water rights in my county, and when it comes up I hope I have the $$ and the huevos to buy it.

both are in lincoln. i've been looking for 2 years. the only one i found was too much $$. then i hoped to buy a house on an existing lake, but lost out to another offer.

I've seen the second one, it's on Knickerbocker, right? Here's the GE view of the property before the lake was filled...

I was driving back from Lincoln a while back and happened to drive by the property (I got sorta lost:rolleyes: )
