Are you going? I went last year and had a blast. As of right now am planning on going this year.

I placed 12th last year. Both of my falls were against Tony B who finished 4th. I ran with him first round and again for 12th place. Working up the losers bracket took a lot out of me. I think I did 8 runs the second day.
But I'll definitly be going this year.

Wow nice work. I was just happy to have made it to the second day. I think I did 3 runs the second day. I injured my left foot last summer (barefooting accident) which severely affected my season, but I've been footing more this summer so hopefully I am somewhat more prepared this time around.

The younger kid with blonde hair about half way through the video, on the back of the boat showing the bottom of his feet looks like the kid that gave me lessons.

I'm surprised that there isn't more buzz surrounding Footstock this year. Aside from BFC.com's video and Water Ski mag's coverage, I thought a lot more people would be talking about it. I mean, this guy (http://www.usawaterski.org/pages/bios/men/Bio.StOngeK.html) will be there, but he's beatable. There is certinly a lot of solid footers that will be able to beat him. He'll definitly be in the top 10, but I don't think he'll win.
I'm just anxious to see what happens this year!

Looking forward to skiing there again this year. Anyone intersted in meeting at Duck's for fish fry on Friday night? We've made that part of the weekend activities over the last few years.

I hate to admit it but I skipped out on Footstock. :( This is my second missed footstock since my first on in '90. That was back before it was called footstock. Big Jack and family were there, but with my lack of practice, I decided not to make my donation to ski my couple of runs and spend 2 days waiting for the runs to happen.
I will probably be back next year. :)
