What is the best way to remove stubborn water spots off of the hull?

I have heard that LimeAway, or Vinegar works pretty will. I have never heard that vinegar is bad for the gel coat, but it makes me a little nervous. I usually cut it with water 50%, then wash off with soap and water.

I use Babes spot remover it's the best that I have used so far. Their spray wax is great after you use the boat too.

I've used both the Meguiers and Babe's brand of spot remover and Babe's is the best IMO. Spray on the Babe's Spot Solver, let it soak for a minute, and rinse off with the hose.

I use the 30-50% vinegar in water when needed. Our lake has very hard water! Vinegar is simply a mild acid - acetic acid. It will eventually take off the wax, but will not harm the gel coat. Make sure you put on a good coat of wax.

vinegar...works like a charm except for the smell.

all babe's products here too. Great stuff and worth the money. The wax/cleaner is awesome and we do it after every trip out on the water. Never have to clean it.

I will also go along with the babes spot remover. Works great just make sure you use some wax after. My boat is on a lift and i usually just wipe it down but when i pull it out use the babes and then wax. It will take care of stubborn water spots.

I use babes seat soap, wax, spot remover, and their rags. All seem to work great.

Well I tried the vinegar and water while on holidays and it worked great. I sprayed the boat with it each night when I pulled it out of the lake and wiped her down.
