Ok, for those that have used Traxx or Gator Grip. How resistant have these materials been to fading?? I am getting ready to purchase one of these two to replace the anti-slip surfaces on my trailer.

Dpends on what color you get. Usually the reds fade the fastes for sure.

when i was having problems with the black mat on the platform causing marks on the vinyl from my old boat i installed the traxx.

it was a awesome product and was very durable.

becuase the lake area is sandy and when i step on the stainless it will scratch it.

How thick is that stuff, Rod? And is it self-adhering (like peel 'n stick), or do you need to apply adhesive?
