View Full Version : For Sale: 2003 X-7

07-24-2007, 10:22 AM
We are selling a 2003 X-7 here in NE Ohio. It has an MCX 350hp engine and we've put ~280 hours on it. It does have the zero flex tower with 2005 Fusion T-Series combo speakers wired up (BTW, these speakers are very loud, and riding at 75 feet, I can hear them perfectly. We also chose these for our newer boat). Has perfect pass (3-event), one factory ballast bag under rear seat (automatic filling), and a cooler in place of a walkway to the bow. Also comes with a stand to hold the tower in place when folded, and it will come with board racks for each side.

*****Reduced price: FIRM $32,000

sweet boat. Is it navy blue? Hard to tell from the pictures.

I'm interested in your boat, how long does it take to lower the tower? How low does it go when lowered? I'm asking as I have a boathouse with a marine railway and would store it inside. thanks. Jeff

captain, yes it's navy blue.

tru-jack, it takes me about a minute and a half to take it down by myself. it's very simple to take it down and the stand will definitely help so the tower isn't resting on the seats in the bow. we fit the boat, tower down, in a standard 7 foot door.

just talked to my dad and he is now asking a firm $32,000.

trujack here is a full folded tower pic

07-25-2007, 02:10 PM
thanks but I don't see the pic of the tower down.

07-25-2007, 02:23 PM
When the tower is completely folded down, it is the height of the windshield frame if that helps at all.

07-25-2007, 04:38 PM

07-25-2007, 05:18 PM
Ric, thanks for the pics.

Prostar in Mi, you're kidding right..;) you know Ohio is beside Mi, can't get much closer... well ok, Buffalo but it's not far.

I haven't skied an x7 but do ski a 190 all the time, I guess with tower etc... it's like having 2 or 3 people in the boat?

Would this boat have the hull hook that was added around this time?

thanks everyone.

Hey if I can sell my Donzi sweet sixteen, I'm ready to buy, anyone want a cool little speed boat???

07-25-2007, 05:19 PM
If you empty the sacs, the x7 should ski as sweet as a 197,
mine has a tower and you can remove the full tower and run the course again and notice no real difference in wake FWIW

07-25-2007, 05:27 PM
thanks Ric, any idea if it has the preferred hook in the hull? thanks

07-25-2007, 06:19 PM
i don't know what the preferred hook in the hull is, so sorry i can't answer that.

the boat does ski very well. all it is is the prostar 197 and the tower does not affect the wake one bit. it does have the magnets in it for the course as well.

Yes, it is an 03 or newer, so it has the hook.

07-25-2007, 06:56 PM
There ya go, the infamous hook is there!

07-25-2007, 07:02 PM
what hook is it that you are talking about?

07-26-2007, 09:39 AM
