A steam pipe exploded in NYC at 43 st and Lexington. Subways are shutdown, and they are wetting down the street from getting too hot. A lot of people thought that it was a terrorist attack at first.

I was in my hotel room at the Hyatt on the 25 floor. The HYatt is above Grand Central Station at 42nd and Lex. It was pretty crazy as I sprinted downstairs with people screaming that another plane had hit. We were escorted to a back door that let us out into Grand Central and I proceeded to sprint across the station with about 25,000 other subway commuters. It was NUTS! Crazy world we live in now.......

CNN said this morning it was an old steam pipe laid in 1924, one person was killed and another had burns over 80% of his body.
