I am venturing into territory I have no clue about!! I wanted to get a wakeboard for my girlfriend, but I know nothing about wakeboards!! The last time I bought a board was a 2001 134 Liquid Force Trip with Hyperlite Bindings. I am sure they have come a long ways, so I am asking for some recommendations.

She is 5'7", 115lbs and is a novice rider. She has been clearing the wake with a 65' line behind my PS 197. I would like to stay below $400, if that is possible?

I was thinking of getting this package (https://www.liquidsportsonline.com/shop/wakeboards/wake-board-ronix-packages/ronix-trinity-135-w/-halo-package#GhTvbZYm1sgAWn7JALEaTw), but I do not know.

My wife has the exact board and binding setup you pictured. She loves it and got up the first try on it. She is progressing fast with it. That particular board is still a medium/beginners board but it should last her for a year or two unless she really progresses fast but I doubt it.

Cameron, if you want that setup, let me know. I'll ship all the parts that you wanted together.

I will let you know, when I find out how much that stupid tower arm is. If the arm is a $300 piece, than the wakeboard is gunna need to wait!! :)

Take care of me Eric.... PLEASE!!!! ;)

Get her one that wont give her face plants. It is my experience that they do not like them.

Mine quit wakeboarding and only rides a wake state now. She loves it and is pretty good on it.

Good luck

With the bindings get the Hinge "Troque" $179.00 or "Faction" $249.00 great bindings for easy entry and no lube required. I have both and the "Torque" IMO are just as good as the "Faction". Find a board on Eaby for about $99.00 and your done for under $300. Good luck.

This board wouldn't be for the girl from last weekend eh? :D

I believe I speak for the board here, prior to any recommendations we're going to need further information.

Full length photos, head to toe
- one front
- one left profile
- one right profile
- one back

Only after the requested info is posted can we safely recommend a board for your broad.

Well, I just got shot down on the Ronix.... No baby blue or pink boards!! Typical chicks... asthetics before performance. Oh well!! I am going to start searching ebay and see what I can come up with. If anyone comes across any good deals, let me know!

Overton's has a CWB Lotus for 300.00 w/Bliss Hinge Bindings and it is a pretty bluish/purple with a lotus flower and the other one is the CWB Bella.

I guess I'm too late to the party, but...

My wife has been running Hyperlite Premier for a couple years. She absolultely loves it and wouldn't even consider a new board right now.

One thing I'm going to try to get her into next time are CWB Hinge Tech bindings (I love my Zeus!). She tends to take a while (IMO) getting into her setup and I think they'd reduce that time and help my impatience to ride!

My wife's best friend got one for christmas, loves it. She is about the same size as your girlfriend, so it should work great. Plus the women all think its pretty. I hope she has fun.

Thanks for the help guys!! She got her board today and tried it out for a quick run behind the outboard in the saltwater. Said that she liked it, but I am sure she will feel more comfortable when she is able to ride it all next week while we are on vacation and she is behind a boat that throws a bit more of a wake than the outboard!

I threw the board up in the board rack of the MC for a quick shot tonight! :)
