Not sure what to do.....

I have recently purchased a 96 maristar 225. There seems to be a leak in the engine compartment maybe above the exhaust going thru the hull but i can't seem to locate it. When you back it down the ramp it starts leaking as soon as it touches the water. i can see it coming down the back of the transom. I looked up the exhaust from outside and noticed there are short fiberglass looking pipes inside. One is pointing up and the other is pointing left/right. Any ideas?? Can there be a leak under the rub rail?

Once under way does it still leak? Yes you can have leaks through the rub rail! Steep ramp? Too much speed? Pull the rear panel and engine cover. The exhaust could be leaking as well.:o

Ramp was normal. Speed was slow so i could see good. i haven't taken the rail off to look yet but that's next.
