Definitely scary to be caught off guard like that, but he should have landed it and ridden it out!

Looks like a heck of a ride. Right up to the point with the sudden stop at the end! :o

Like the old saying: The fall doesn't kill ya, the sudden stop does!

It looks like they were prepared to do it though. If they were not they would have bailed imo.

They had to be prepared to have someone conveniently there to capture it...

I think that they had no idea how fast they would stop.

Interesting concept. I like it. No, foolin, I would seriosly like to see some psychological profile test type thing that could show a relation between jet skis and intellect. that would be interesting to see.

I've never been able to figure out if it's just a coincidence that stupid people like jet skis or if somehow riding one MAKES you stupid. i dont see any boaters jumping my wake and almost landing in my boat, or riding directly behind my boarder or skier.........or jumping off dams.

I had one a few years ago, i sold it before it made me any dumber than i already am;)

Yes, it is funny, but interesting at the same time. I mean it. I think he is hitting on something. My parents bought a set of Yamahas back in 90, and they still have them. they would just cruise around with them. My friends and I rode the heck out of them for 2 summers then got bored with them and went back to skiing all the time. But the people I see with them now just are R tards! they dont know what the heck they are doing. they seem to be challenged. I have some cousins that had a set of them and those guys are just bone heads, idiots. They finally sold them, but talk about dumb...

according to a news article they are both in serious condition so I don't think it was staged but you never know.

I think people get on them and get caught up in the moment and lose their minds. I've seen it happen a number of times - which is why I got rid of my sit down (Waverunner). My wife and I each have a stand up and we are the only ones that ride them.

You certainly don't stage yourself to get hurt. However, trying to impersonate a stunt man will no doubt land you in the hospital..........

That's why all of those TV shows say "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME"

Unfortunately, they did not read the disclaimer...................8p

Could that jump have been made solo. Seem like if he would have stood up some to use his legs as shock absorbers and leaned back a little to land a$$ first it might have worked??

Not that I want to try. :D :D
