Broken Rear Seat - PS209

The rear seat in my 2001 ProStar 209 just snapped. I pulled back the upholstery and found that the base of the seat is this aluminum honeycomb stuff and is has broken. What should I do? Should I try to find the same stuff and replace it?

I called MasterCraft to get an entire new back seat and was told that they no longer stock them. Does anyone know where I can get a new seat?

You can probably source a piece of the aluminum homeycomb stuff locally. Or you can buy a piece of HDPE (Plastic) and use that. Another less expensive alternative would be to remove the old and use a new piece of marine grade plywood as the base. Then staple back the old vinyl. Make sure you use stainless staples.
