As many of you have read by now, a very good friend of the MasterCraft community has lost his son.

Jim Kranendonk, better know as Jim@BAWS, lost his 16 year old son today in a tragic accident. A few of us TT'ers have been PM'ing and talking on the phone trying to decide what we could do to show our support.

One thing we thought of is to buy a flower arrangement and send it to the service. Another thing was to purchase a meal for the family and have it delivered to Jim's house. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Please PM me, BriEOD or skidog if you would be interested in making a monetary donation.

Can I suggest someone who is close to Jim to post a email address for us to donate via Paypal?

I don't recall ever having a discussion with Jim directly here in TMC, but I distinctly remember him offering positive support to all. Times are tough for me right now, But nothing can measure to what a good fella like Jim is dealing with. Nobody should ever have to bury there child. Let me know where I can donate and if there is anything else I can do.

We are working on this. I will post the information for everyone to send PayPal to once we get it squared away.

Alright, the easiest way to get our arms around this is to use PayPal. If you are interested in donating for flowers and any extra will go towards food, please PM me an email address and I will send you a request for funds. I will keep everyone posted on the arrangements as soon as I hear something.

I'm in for flowers, meal, etc....will check back tonight or tomorrow am. Let me know. I can certainly paypal a donation to the cause.

Also, when the fund in Thomas's name hits the board, please keep bumping it to the top or have one of the admins "sticky" it so it stays there.

Per Jim's request, we are going to hold off doing anything. Jim has requested that we submit the money to a memorial fund for his belated son at Land O' Lakes Highschool.

When things get sorted out, let me know. I will be happy to donate towards the memorial fund.

Per Jim's request we will send all donations to the scholarship fund that is being set-up for a future scholar athlete at Land O Lakes HS. Once the details are finalized, we will post in this thread as well as the other thread.
