View Full Version : Navman fuel gauge help

About 2 years ago, when my fuel gauge sending unit failed, I decided to to try the Navman Fuel 2100 ($150) instead of a new MC sending unit for $180. I thought I'd get better accuracy, for less cost too.

After having it for a few months and recalibrating per directions over 40-50 gallon usage amounts for better accuracy, I would still get erraticly high AND low gallon per hour usage readings. I got Navman to send a new flowmeter, but that did not help. The flow meter is mounted in the proper orientation between the fuel filter and the fuel pump. I had to add a 'loop' of fuel line to get the room to install the flowmeter as recommended.

I'm curious if anyone else has used the Navman Fuel 2100 succesfully. Or if anyone has had these problems and found a fix.

Thanks, Dave

I eliminated the 'loop' in the fuel line between fuel filter and fuel pump, with flow meter fit in between. I still have erratic gph readings. :o(

Anyone using Navman F2100 fuel gauge system where it works (or doesn't)
Thanks, Dave
