I am new to this site and posted this question on the electrical and I should have put it here instead.

Anyways, can I temporarily disconnect the fuel vent hose from my 1995 190 Prostar without any potential problems? I want to try wakesurfing this week and won't be able to relocate the vent for a few weeks. I thought disconnecting it could be a short term solution (I am worried about water getting in the vent with the added weight to the back).

Thanks for your advice.
