I have said before, the 93 Stars and Stripes is one of my all time favorite boats. When doing a search for one, I stumbled across this one (http://www.amssale.com/images/boats/1993_Prostar_Mastercraft/1993_Prostar_Mastercraft.htm).

Reminds me, time to call skidim and order new gas line between fuel pump and carb.

You might want to look at the line from the tank to the pump as well. I replaced mine ('83) a few years ago and it was badly cracked. The deck/filler hose was shot too.

Glad to see it isn't the one I sold this past season.

Looking at the burn marks below the water line and on the trailer, I would hazard a guess that this boat was torched while sitting on the trailer. I did read about a boat that was torched in a driveway. The owner was pretty sure he knew who the vandals were but couldn't prove anything. But that was several months ago. Usually a "didn't use the blower" incident on a small inboard will be put out before it goes this far. I seen 'em

Wow, looks like all the boats got major smoke damage. Can't even tell what the boat on the left was.

I had a couple of picture I had saved off of ebay I wanted to share in this thread, it appears I lost them when I switched computes last year.

One was a early 90's 190 that was vandalized with a sawsall, it looked bad.
The other boat appeared to be in mint condition, except it was made into a salad bar. If I remember right, it was a 98 PS190.
Did anybody elese see these and maybe save the picture?

The boat fire pictures are from a thread on Planet Nautique. I believe it was the unit heater over top of his boat. That caused the fire.

I remember seeing a 205 that was white and blue that had been schwacked during a hurricane on Ebay, I think it was in Virginia. Just beat to $hit, been flooded and didn't have any glass left. Talk about a project boat.

Farmer,

Saw that 205 as I was searching for my ride as well. Project boat is an understatement

93 S&S is one of my favs, too. That's sad. Probably worth the price for the trailer, the platform, the prop and the rudder. Don't think you could salvage the skins though.

Wasn't someone on her looking for a back seat. Search no more. ;)

I remember the salad bar one. I faintly remember it was a Nautique but I could be wrong. Whatever it was, it was a bad hull straight out of the factory that they would only allow to be used for display purposes.

Wow, looks like the same boat as in the other link. How many new red X-2 could have been in a fire. I hope the insurance companies to the right thing.

that one looked like it could be repaired, more like it was inside where the fire was rather than the boat was actually on fire

Don't forget the speedo pickup! I wonder what you would do with the hull?It would cost a bunch to despose of.

A while back, someone was selling one on ebay that had been converted to a salad bar. The hull was a blem and the person had to promise never to try to use it as a boat. I suppose you could use this one as a smoker.

I'd cut part of the bow off and try to make a snazzy hard cover for my open bow.

Or cut the front 4 ft. of the bow off and mount it to the game room wall. That would look cool next to the kegorator.

Actually, it says the engine is in good shape. I could mod my boat and have a twin direct drive.

Gus Campbell's has a hull of a 205 or 209 nothing in it, Bridget said they were going to put it on a pole

Ben is that in the Detroit area or from the e-bay post? That is pretty cool. If my mom had that when I was a kid, she would have never had to bug me about eating my greens. I would have had them for Breakfast lunch and dinner.

When it was on Ebay a year or 2 ago, it was in a restaurant in one of the southern states. Maybe Mississippi.
I wonder where it is now, I am hungry.

It's a 97. When it was on ebay, I'd emailed the seller about it with some of my curiosities. This was his response.

"This is a hull reject from MC. I promised them that we would not build into a boat. It would probably make for a bad project. (thin place in hull, poor hook, don't know exactly the reason for the rejection but it can't be made into a boat.) I have a serious inquiry from a ski club in north carolina to use at club gatherings. would make an excellent beverage boat. I think the only holes in the boat are the exhaust holes and also the holes where we mounted the casters. Tell all the people on the discussion board to come out and see us at our resort.

We have the best ski lake in the country."
