You're such a tool. Of course you can do it, man you can do anything as long as you set your mind to it and have enough Oly.
You should email me some pics of your rig and your freaky hoes. I bet you got some real good rap music, you kickin a sub in the 'Craft?

Be careful of the fiberglass dust. It will cause you all sorts of problems if you breath to much of it in. To be on the safe side, you might want to see if you can find a cutting tourch to borrow. It will avoid the dust problem and I think it will make the job quite a bit faster than the sawzall.

Not to start a brand war or anything, but before I came over to the "good" side, I used to own a Mal!@u boat(name withheld to protect the innocent). A fellow on that site cut up his Response (closed bow) into a Response LX (open bow version). See if this link works: http://www.malibuboatowners.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11672&hl=response

I've seen that how-to on the MBO site. Very courageous folks to be cutting into the bow. I thought the mod turned out well.

Hey Toolman! While you got the Sawzall out opening up the deck, why not cut a hole in the bottom and glue on a piece of clear plexiglass and make it into an glass bottom boat?
I was on one of those in Flordia and it was great!

Powerslot, that's a great idea!!! Or...
I found this website (http://www.foils.org/yourown.htm) and thought this would be cool. How bout changing your Mastercraft into a hydrofoil. I've heard they don't make much wake, and you can get some great speed outta them...
Food for thought man...

Another idea for the toolman to consider would be to pull the seats from his bass boat and just bolt them right on the closed bow top. It would give a great view for the passengers and save all the trouble of cutting away the fiberglass..... plus it would look really cool.

I hate to say it, but since I check this site ~cough~ occasionally at work, I did have to be sure your avatar wasn't in site when others were in my office.
I didn't rat you out though.... But - thx for changing it. I did enjoy waiting for the bra to let go at any time.:D

Sorry…but …okay so...I think there is a "W" word here??? I mean are you a man or a … oh sorry, I forgot to look at the avatar??? JK of course. Really, we do have such a sensitive side to respond gently and with kind consideration of other’s feelings. (did I just say that…maybe I should copy of future reference)

Good one Prof...... maybe its time I changed my Avator....
Actually once our current avators are long gone, we are going to reread this thread and wonder what we were talking about....
Back on subject.....
Hey Tool Man, hows the open bow conversion going? You know if the sawzall dosent work out, a chain saw will do a good job cutting thru your deck and hull.
