Sirius - cenet help

I have a clarion radio in my boat. The cenet cord connection on the back is a female connection. The factory radio in the Jeep is a male cenet connection. I can by a female to male cenet cord but I don't know if all cenet connections go to the same post. I would like to use the same satellite box in the jeep and boat. Does any one know if this will work?
