Come on Brian, 50s.. That’s water ski weather for sure.. Didn’t you get a new wet or dry suit?:headbang: ?

Leroy, that is Seven Springs. Melissa had a 5 hr lesson. That shot was about half way through. Thanks, she did do well. I think snow skiing will help with the water skiing as well. I’ve also decided to buy a boom to help with my barefoot,:o , oops, I mean teaching the kids.:D

Needless to say I used a lot of duct tape and bandaids the next 4 days. Body very sore on day 2 as well. And last of all I have a new HO Phantom that I haven't skied on yet and I don't want there to be the trial run. Does anybody else here have one? How does it ski compared to a KD7000? I'm REALLY hoping they over forcast on this one. It is almost March. They say 6-8 inches and high winds. Not sure why they call it a blizzard, unless it's because of the wind. It shouldn't be because of the snow. We got 2ft or so our last storm and they didn't class that as a blizzard.

Looks like your climbing the walls. Cant wait to see what a “blizzard” looks like in your part of the world..

I know this is a couple of days late since this board was down, but our blizzard didn't come. They downgraded it Friday morning. I have never been so happy to see 2-3 inches of snow. WOOHOO!!!!!!! It's not a foot more that we have to get rid of. I feel fortunate that our weather people in this part of the country can't forcast yesterdays weather, let alone tomorrows. It's still cold because of he full moon, but that's ok considering all things. Right now 26 degrees and STRONG SW wind.

Thanks for the offer. The snow banks are not high enough to need the loader this year. I used to plow but went to a tractor mounted blower so that the road doesn't close in on me as the winter moves on. It got to a point that I had nowhere left to push the stuff a few years back.

Anyone else noticing the TMC weather is way off base? Looks like the data comes from weatherroom.com. In my case the forcast is for 25 - 30 degrees lower than any other forcast I can find, CNN, Weather.com, local TV stations, etc. Their also saying snow & everyone else says rain.
I guess time will tell.......

yes it is me making a zoolander face. zoolander is a movie starring ben stiller. Just did a Google search.....Now I see said the blind man. So was the movie any good???

"Zoolander" slampoons those people we all love to hate...fashion models. Especially, the male fashion model. Ben Stiller in the company of his parents and a whole bunch of miscellaneous celebs in bit parts, plays an empty-headed and narcissistic top male fashion model, Derek Zoolander, who is topped by an even topper male fashion model played by Owen (the nose) Wilson. Yeah, Stiller and Wilson playing fashion models: Funny premise, huh? With a kind of 007 (that's Zoolander's IQ) assassination plot thing going on, brainwashing Zoolander (no detergent required), a runway "walk-off" and other nonsense, this flick bulges with stupid, silly, nonsensical humor. Depending on -your- sense of humor, this film may wear itself out early or leave you craving seconds. Most will find LOL's aplenty with one helping sufficient.

movie - zoolander
Ric's movie review:
he was a male model who made a stupid face that was his trademark "look". actually one of the dumbest movies I ever wasted cash to see.
I've tried and tried, but I cannot force myself to be a ben stiller fan.

Well I guess I'll be the first one with the 007 IQ :D to say I loved the movie. :uglyhamme Very funny, but then again I like those dumb type of movies. Ones I don't have to think about much to laugh at. Life is too serious sometimes. I think I've seen it 4 or 5 times now. I also liked Dude, where's my car.
Anyway, just happened to read those posts on the way to report our beautiful weather here. It's been mostly sunny for about a week with temperatures in the 40's. Melting most of the snow, and the ice is starting to look grainy. I know it's not water, but it certainly is a start.

:woohoo: :woohoo: I see water.....It's drizzly and windy, but that's ok. The ice is getting dark. I figure 1-1 1/2 weeks. The shore is thawed enough to get to my water line for the cottage. I am soooooo happy.

55 degrees today and sunny. Had hoped to take a "maiden voyage" today but the "honey-do" list is not complete. Spend most of the day yesterday working on the boat and didn't get the list done. I am learning you don't mess with a pregnant lady and have decided to "obey" the list :D Maybe this week will get her out during the week for a spin. :steering:

The snow is finally gone, its been in the mid-sixties to low seventies and the water is open. Water temps are in the low 50's and the water levels are very high. We are under a no-wake ordience until the water level drops again.
