Well, I've been skiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, kneeboarding, air chairing and yes even tubing for over 20 years now and God has blessed me with zero trips to the hospital, until today.

I was out on a kneeboarding run (after a wakeboarding run) and took a sizeable jump off the wake, almost a face plant, pulled up the nose just in time, but the bounce caught the side edge and in the water I went. Some how the board came back at me and slammed me in the forehead. Ouch!

Didn't even know I was cut until my buddy said, "You got to get in the boat NOW!" Two internal and eleven external stitches. Just kickin back with a couple of darvocet. Its all good, just gotta stay out of the water for seven days.

Yeah, Kevin was a little freaked out. He may have thought I had a concussion (sp?). We got out about 3:00pm and this happened about 5:30pm. I should've been barefootin, since I'm better at that than you.

Yea, you are the barefootin man.............on the boom.

Did you bleed all over his boat? I hope you let other get their last runs in before heading to the hospital!

Did you drive yourself or make Kevin take ya?

I did bleed on his boat, but I cleaned it up. I drove myself and they went back out for some more runs. Got a nice goose egg on my forehead and it throbs without the darvocet.

Hoosier Bob - sorry didn't know there was already a "Scar" thread or I would've have posted it there. We talked at MagMania II, but you were too wasted to remember.

It took forever to heal. A month later I was still having trouble sleeping. I will do it again though. That was a blast! Most fun I have had on a kneeboard! Nice to finally know who that was! Yes we talked but man I was drinking anything I could find to kill the pain! Do not know or remember who parked my ride! I just wanted off!:D Hoosier - Yup that's me! How is the old sternum?
