Woo hoo....it's been 15 yrs since I have barefooted so I bought a bunch of toys last week (BI Boom, Fly High Pole, BF Handle and rope, wakeboard). Went out today and just held onto the boom for a rip down the lake to get the feel for my feet and body position etc. Then I got the 5 foot rope and started in the superman position and rotated around and planted and did it! It was soooo awesome to do that again. As a bonus i got my son up on a wakeboard to using the boom. Next weekend he will be using the short rope then hopefully progress to the fly high the following week.
This summer is going to be a realllllllly good one. :D
Here are the pics from today....me just completing the spin on my "arse" and planting my feet in

well we went out at 7:30am and I was quite shocked at this one cove we were in as it was pretty smooth even at about 9:00 when those footin pics were taken. Wasn't glass but had ripples which is no biggie. We dropped in at "charelston" this time but had to drive all over to find a decent cove where noone was. We went up Friday morning and met out there at 7:00 and it was even better water.
I usually drop in at Deer creek Friday mornings or Hall Creek Saturday mornings.
I usually leave by 11:30 to make room for the rest of the city to stir up the lake :D It gets to crazy out there on the weekends for sure.

JRandol....do you drip in at Baldridge Marina? We did a few weeks back but I probably won't go there as I have a yearly pass and there was only 1 ramp which made for a long wait to put the boat in ....ugh

Well.....right now I am boatless :( but we bought a pass to the park off Mary Alice. We'd probably drop in there if we had a boat :(

ugh....i m sorry to hear about no boat! This is my second season with this one and my last one I had was over 15 yrs ago. Am very glad to be back on the water again. Had a 1983 2001 Nautique which at that time was a great 1st boat for me but now that I have this mastercraft, I am definitely sold on MC

Can't go wrong w/ a MC! We are expecting this summer and I doubt a boat will be in my future this year. Believe me next year FOR SURE i'll have something. Those that know me on the board know I am a bit of an afficiando :D I believe my nicname is "ski em and flee em!" :D
