My wife and I just bought our first boat this year in February - a used 2005 X-2 in prefect condition. It had 100 hours on it when we bought it. I looked at the hour gauge again this weekend and it had 141 hours. I can't believe we put 40 hours on the boat already and it's only June 4th.

How many hours do you usually put on in a season?

80-100....just passed the 1000 mark last week on my '95 PS190.

3 hrs away from 1500... divide that by 26 and you get a whopping 57.6 hrs a season....

I'll tell ya Surgot, It don't take long it seems to put on the hours. living on a lake we're out at least two times a week, then all weeked..for us about 100+ a yr. still my 01 x-star has only 562 hr. on em.

When you are floating around cocktail cove listening to the radio turn the key to the left, not the right!8p

Sure beats a 40 hour work week!:D

Hey Shurgot, are you just trying to brag about how much you've been using your new boat?

150/yr easily and three times that if my wife and i didn't have to work. don't worry about the hours. just change the oil every 35-40 hours and stay on top of the required maintenance. use common sense when it comes to taking care of your boat. keep it out of the sun and rain when not in use. clean and maintain your boat and enjoy the heck out of it. it's not the type of trophy you sit on a mantle shelf and stare at. have lots of fun. that's what it's for. when it completely dies play taps and go get another one.

I'm not a skier, but I heard the ski wake is pretty good. Tubing is fun, wake makes it more fun :)

The wake settles down at higher speeds with the ballasts empty.

The boat is just shy of 21 feet.
