I have an '00 Maristar 210, and slightly smeared the decal on the starboard side of my boat, the one that says Maristar.

I did this unloading on a rather steep ramp yesterday, and found out today that it is already out of production (in my hull color, green)

Can still get black, any ideas?

Start calling some dealers. I found a full-set of decals for my 1996 last year by calling Rambo Marine in Alabama. Try calling a few BIG dealers and I am sure you can find a replacement.

You can take a photo of the other side and get some good measurements, then take it to a local sign shop, they should be able to do it.

I know exactly what you're talking about - I've scarfed my side decals in exactly the same trailering situation. In my case, I didn't damage them, but I changed out the graphics anyway because I prefer that my boat be known as a MasterCraft, not as a MariStar. My graphics that came on the boat were drip-molded. If you can't get replacement MariStar graphics from your dealer, you can try a signmaker/vinyl cutter, but for them to reproduce the "MariStar" or "MasterCraft" that duplicates the MasterCraft trademark(s) would mean that that signmaker would have to be OK with trademark infringment. Most aren't.

You may still be able to buy MariStar in a drip-molded style as came on the 2004-2005 boats as below. As I mentioned, I changed mine out.

Trademark infringement is using a company's trademark on a product that is not made by that company in a manner that will confuse the consumer as to the origin of that product.

If you do swap them out just make sure you get them on straight:D

Yes, my bad. It wouldn't be trademark infringement. Unauthorized reproduction of a company's logo would be copyright infringement. Most reputable signmakers wouldn't do it.

Actually, that font is HemiHead 426. Close to the MasterCraft logo, but not the same. There is no copyright on HemiHead 426 - it's in the public domain.

I ran across this over at the brands of the world page. It's the MasterCraft logo in an .eps file. Should work for anyone wanting to have some vinyl decals cut locally. I played around with it to make a MariStar logo as well. I don't have a copy on my work pc, but you can pm me if you would like a copy.

My suspicion is that that would be true if the product were somehow boat-related. Since MasterCraft gutters/siding and MasterCraft boats wouldn't normally be confused, the use of the name printed in a public domain font probably wouldn't be viewed as trademark infringement by a judge.
