I bought a sky boom for my 83 S&S about 2 weeks ago and it is way bigger than my pylon, probably a 1/8 - 1/4 inch on all sides. Are the pylon's bigger in newer boats? If so do I need to buy a new pylon or is there a spacer that I can buy/use?

Thanks,

Zach

Hmmmmmmmm........I know we used to have a little space for the pole in our old 94, but maybe not that much.....

if it's like the Skylon Fat Pole, it's supposed to have a nylon webbed sleeve that fits over the pylon, then the pole slides over it

my 91 used the white sleeve....fits loose otherwise:twocents:
