Has anybody checked out the interactive radar maps on weather.com?

It superimposes the current radar on top of the satellite photo.
When you zoom in real close you will lose the radar image, but the detail shown on the satellite image is much better than what google or yahoo maps have.

Check it out.

Yea it's great and you put in your zip and it takes you right to your town and you can zoom in and out!!!

I second that. It's the best of both that I have seen. I do wish the refresh rate was a little better.

Thanks for sharing, I have a new favorite. The NOAA ones are pretty nice too.

I've always used Intellicast which does not zoom well but has always provided good results.

I use Intellicast for when I judge sailing. I love the way it shows storm centers and wind direction within the storm. Love the watch and warning boxes also. I just wish they had better resolution.
