I would look for a 1994 ProStar 190 with ither a TBI or LT-1 engine. You should be able to find something in good shape for that money.

Also, depending if you need an open bow, the 205 is a solid boat. However, you should expect to pay 3-4k extra for this model.

Good advise from Erk although I would not limit myself to a 94 190. Also good choise would be the 93 190 with the LT1, 95-97 190 (all fuel injected) and some of the later model 98+ Sportstar/19 Skier. Although the later model boats may be a bit more than the $15k deals do pop up now and then.

Also, take a look at the "Marketplace" button above. That should give you a good idea of what you can get for the money you want to spend.

I have a 92 PS 190 in marketplace. I just completed these updates. New parts: 4160 carb, full tune-up, OJ 454 XMP 4 blade prop, bilge pup, battery. Very clean, solid and runs very strong and smooth. MC trailer is in very good condition too. PM me for more details if you're interested.

Be careful though, when I told my wife that the boat I was looking for in the market around 15k to 20k...........well,:). it turned out after taxes
to be just a little more then 37k:eek3: I just can't understand when she points to it when she wants to buy something!!!
