Anyone have any tips for removing the gauge cluster on a 1996 190 and resealing it? One of the speedos in mine isn't sealed properly and gets filled with condensation when it rains.

All of my guages did that too. 20 minutes in the sun though and it was gone...

None of the Airguide speedos were sealed and continued moisture intrusion will screw up the mechanics inside. Airguide is no longer in business making those speedos and they are becoming harder and harder to find, especially MC labled ones.
Is it the Airguide pressure type speedo? If so, the black ring around the outside of the gauge slides off and you can take off the clear dome from the gauge and dry and clean. If yours or anyones outside black ring has started turning blue from the sun (black anodization blueing) you can take the rings off and spray the outside of the ring with Bondo Black Primer (ACE HDWE) and they will be good as new! Do not spray inside the ring where it slides on the dial!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you use it in the rain or let it sit in the rain, place a towel or something over the dash and gauges to block the rain and moisture from getting in!

Check and see if your bulb lights up. The heat from the bulb will help dry it also.

Alright sounds good I'll take a look at the gauge next time I'm at my house. As for the other speedo issue, I usually just hop in the water to take care of any additional condensation. Although I stick with board shorts unlike Sodar apparently.

you should try a banana hammock under your boardies, good support, really saves you from that ackward pass with the goodies tucked behind.
