Today, we got delivery of our 2007 X15 in Montreal with 55 F outside. Pretty cold to be in the water. We got the eisenglass as an option, and today was a perfect time to use it.

Still, the boat runs great, a few things to get settled but we are very happy with the boat and the colors.

Michel Soucy of Mastercraft Montreal Marine has given us an outstanding service by spending about 3 hours and a half with us to go through everything and guide us on the water as well as with the cover.

I would have liked to post pictures, but I don't seem to have found the right way yet.

Can't wait to go back on the water again !

enjoy you new boat. We took delivery of a 2007 x-15 in late april... What is the eisenglass option? We are in portland Maine. Still cold down here also

The eisenglass option is a piece of see-through plastic (mica ?) that you snap between the bimini top and the windshield. This protects you from the rain or wind when it is in the 50's. We used it again yesterday and it was great for the kids.

Very choppy yesterday, but the boat handled great. I am wondering about the fuel gauge as we have been out around 7 hours now and it is only down by not even a quarter, is that normal ?

I am still trying to figure that out as well. We have the same boat. The gauge was very slow to start moving down and I do believe we were out of gas at an indicated 3/8 of a tank. We have been incredibly busy lately and will not get out for a couple of weeks again (wife is heading to China for 2 weeks), but I plan on having a spare 5 gallons with me until I get the gauge figured out, just in case. Great boat. Congrats!!!

Greenspirits,

This is our first boat, so we really started big with a Mastercraft.

Milkmania,

What was the google results for eisenglass, any at all ?

Onewheat,

For the fuel gauge, talking to our dealer yesterday, he told me that you have to be careful with it, we have been out 7 hours and he told me we should expect to refill after about 12 hours. Next time we go out, hopefully this week-end, I will refuel and this will tell me where it's really at.

For the pics, will try later on this week.

Eisenglass , sounds like a nice option. That is great gas/hours on the boat. We have been putting in 15/16 gallons every time we are out for 3 hours of run time. We fill every time as am scared of the fuel pump issue.

We are not south of much that is for sure. It kind of bytes that the season in down east maine and aroostic county is even shorter as we have numerous wonderful lakes

Congratulations on the new boat. Plenty warm down here in TX, too bad all the rain has closed all the local lakes. I never considered there might be too much water to ski.
