Any one have any suggestions for the optimal rope length for a 2007 X1? We are usually have 6 adults in the boat when we go out.

Best way to figure out the rope length is to attach the rope and let it drag at the speed that you like with the ballast then adjust it. I go with about 75' on my x10, some others prefer it at 70.

boat does'nt have a lot to do with length, the riders ability and width of the wake does! until they (rider ) can clear the wake good the rope can be lengthed, try 65 foot to start with.then climb from there.

Agreed. It can depend on what you are trying to learn. I recently had to pull the rope length in to knock the rust off. Once you get the technique down, you can let it back out

In general I would say 70' - 80' (more 75'-80'), but variables such as weight and speed play into where the rope length and sweet spots are.
