Hi all,

Anybody know of a good MC or aftermarket cleat for attaching a ski rope to the rear transom/deck of '00 190? Some of the older ('96 ish) Prostars I have seen have had a rear mounting point but ours does not and some times we have a few more than two in the boat and it would be nice be able to use the back seat while towing kids and the like. Also how much backing would be sufficent to support the load or is there already support built in at that area of the boat? Pics or links always appreciated.

Hope you are all getting out and getting some good water.
Thanks,
Chad

Can't help you on a transom tow point, but have you considered getting an extended pylon to go over your ski pylon. I used mine for skiing, boarding and toooobing and it held up fine. Not too expensive either. Keeps the rope up and out of the way for back seat passengers.

I think you'd be happier with an extended pylon. Catch one of these owners putting a tower on their boat and I'll bet they will let their pylon go for pretty cheap.

I just sold mine for $150.
