i have a 02 skier 19 with 310hp when i put the boat in the water the other day i noticed the fuel pump was a lot louder than it use to be. when the rpms would hit about 1500 it would bog down and die. i replaced the filter, wich was a powersteering filter. now my dash is out but i can get it up to about 20 25mph and it bogs out. any help would be good

1) Fuel FIlter on the bottom of the pump
2) Maybe time for new cap and rotor
3) You need to have FUEL PRESSURE checked

the pump is next to the tranny. breezy it would be nice to just change the pump but they are 350.00. i didt see a filter on the pump, the only filter i found was on top of the tank and i replaced it.

The later you change it, the more time you loose. You probably have somwhere in the line ristriction and the pump takes the load. Not enough fuel cerculate trough the pump. Once you check the fuel pressure you will see the problem. You got to take care the ristriction too. This are comon problems.I don't think you got problem with the fuel filter or filters.
