Wanted a boat that could handle some bigger water, so I upgraded my '03 230 to a '06 245. Very happy so far!:)

Mmmmm! I love black on white boats. The beige always adds some extra class.

Nice looking boat Vern! Sorry to see one of my fellow 230 owners change but looks like a great choice!

What sports do you do with it?

I looked at the 45 and it is much larger than the 230.

My son wakeboards and I ski. Both my son and daughter and their cousins and their friends love to tube. We have had as many as eleven teenagers on the 230 before. Great fun! But the main reason for the switch was I boat on Lake Michigan a lot more than I thought I would and the 245 handels the big water quite a bit better.

We added the tower for my son and we went for a few more options with the new boat. You learn a lot about what you use and don't use after owning a boat for three years. The new boat has a heater, mp3 jack, bimini, transom remote, 6 channel JL Amp with 10" sub, and MC cruise control. And we use them all!

Magnum, she has the MCX. That's is a downgrade from the LQ9 I had in the 230. I haven't pulled anybody yet, so I don't know how the -35 horses and extra 1,000+ lbs will effect the ho-shot. But to tell the truth I haven't noticed a huge difference riding around on Lake Michigan.
