I watched some of it. There was a guy I know that had a very radical C3 Corvette up for auction.........I think it was lot 746. It's crazy what prices some of the early muscle cars are fetching.

I saw some of it. That 67 GT Shelby autographed by Shelby, $295,000. Man was it sweet!!

I am always surprised at how reasonable some of the cars actually go for. Especially considering what has gone into many of them...plus, Barrett-Jackson has very high standards, you can be pretty sure you are getting what you think you are getting.

We watched some of it and was shocked to see some of the cars go for that much money.

This Chrysler Airflow (http://www.barrett-jackson.com/events/scottsdale/vehicles/cardetail_list.asp?id=178146) was built by two hot rod shops near my home in eastern WA. I heard it was expected to bring in over $500k & be the highest priced hot rod in history. Their last car sold for over $400k a year ago! The paper here said that Jay Leno was expected to be looking at it.
But the Barret-Jackson website has no details on what happened with the auction.

Crazy prices, but my Dodge R/T convertible just keeps my portfolio growing. Getting to be worth too much to drive.....
