Anyone have any experience or advice about the 1994-1997 Mastercraft Maristar 225? I am seriously considering picking one up, but wanted to hear from some people who have had some experience with them. I will be both waterskiing and wakeboarding behind it. Any advice or opinions would be helpful. Thanks

I have a 94 Maristar 225 VRS open bow.. Good wake board boat, good ski boat if you dont need the perfect wake.. LOTS of room for everyone. My boat rides alot nicer than the prostars, but is NOT a deep vee type of ride...

Are you looking at a 225 or a 210? Direct or V-drive?.. Lots of difference in either one of these...

Thanks for the reply. I am probably looking for a V-drive, but my biggest concern is that the boat has a large Free-Board. The newer wakeboard boats do, but most of the older boats have a more traditional low inside profile with a small free-board. I am also looking at supras. Do you have any thoughts on this? I was also wondering what you meant by it is not a deep vee type of ride? How has your boat held up over the years? I am looking to spend 12K-20K on a boat this spring. Any advice or thoughts would be very useful.
