I snapped this one as a herd was crossing the Potomac River. Amazing how good swimmers they can be.

Here is a pict of Jr. He hung out at my stand all year, he was to small to shoot, but next year he better walk lightly. :woohoo:

where's JR at? all i see is his daddy....he wouldnt make it one day here in Alabama.....but seriously, it must be nice to have a place to go and hunt and be able to manage your deer and let deer (like the one in the picture) walk away.

Brad, you are going to have to get FarmerTed to take you to Iowa for some "real" deer hunting...
This is supposedly taken after a hunt in Northern Iowa. I cropped the pic to get it to fit so it may be hard to tell, but those are some huge deer! I don't think the cattle get this big down here in the South.

I would rather go on a pheasant hunt in Iowa than a deer hunt!

I'd rather drop the whammy on some Ringold County Quail!

Did you see this new "record" deer from Iowa?

After readimg the article, he could be in the market for a new MasterCraft (or two) if he is willing to cash in on the antlers!
