2 shots tequila-spend the $$$ on the good stuff
1 shot Controy http://www.cocktaildb.com/ingr_detail?id=153
1 shot triple sec
1 shot fresh lime juice
makes one drink. Will be tart at first but will turn into one smooth MF'r.

May want to add a pinch of sugar.

Every year I hear Cinco de Mayo... I think of "a 5th of mayo(naise)". Makes me giggle inside!

I will be trying your recipe out tonight - I might have a difficult time finding the Controy however - being this is Salt Lake City - UTAH

Trudy's Mexican Martini
2 oz of 100% Blue Agave Tequila
1 oz Cointreau
1--2 oz Sprite
1 oz Orange Juice;
Juice of 1/2 Lime

Shake all ingredients and strain into glass rimmed with salt; add stuffed olives.

/Tex, this has your name written all over it.
//For those of you who have spent some time in Austin, this may look familiar.

This is another recipe that keeps my friends coming back for more.

I will break this down into two recipes, 1 for rocks, 1 for blended.

First one on the rocks.
1-cup tequila
1-cup water
6 oz Limeade
2 oz Orange juice or 2 oz Cointreau

Mixed well, fill glass to top with ice and enjoy

The second one for blended.
1-cup tequila
6 oz Limeade
2 oz Orange juice or 2 oz Cointreau
4 cups Ice

Mixed tequila, limeade and orange juice or Cointreau
together, fill blender with ice and poor mixtures over the top, mix to desired smoothness.

I have this pretty much down to a science, can make a batch or gallons worth. We normally make a huge jug for weekend trips.....

Now who has the cure for the hangover remedies.

- Supposedly the higher grade alcohol (more$$$$) the less chance of a hangover....I have been putting this to test so far have had mixed results - especially if any red wine has been mixed into the evening

my favorite is similar to this. get 6-oz can of frozen limeade and put into blender. next, use the empty limeade can to measure 6-oz tripple sec (cointreau would be fantastic but is rather $$) and 6-oz tequila both of which also go into blender. fill blender with crushed ice and let it rock and roll until smooth. pour and buckle your seat belt for the ride of your life. side note: nothing less quality that cuervo gold and try sugar on rim rather than salt for a change. my wife purrs like a kitten when i serve these.:D

That bears recognition. You are the man. How do you do it?

That reminds me, Semper Fi? Yes No?
