I used Overton's for the boat and the trailer bunks. I used the 20 oz I believe. TB

I bought marine carpet at Lowes. I seem to remember it being in 8' wide rolls. I put it in my first MC, and 86'. Mag Red helped (and did amazing work) It looked really good and seemed durable.

perfect. thanks.
Took out some of the panels the other day and the egdes are coming off the glass. Am I able to use just a spary adesive to restick carpet or should I get really carpet adesive??

I would definitely get the marine carpet adhesive for anywhere that could remotely get wet. Overton's stuff is good - we redid the interior in my '78 Stars & Stripes and it has stuck well so far in wet and dry, hot and cold. It's tacky stuff, and don't get it on the pretty side of the carpet, but it should help keep it down.

If you have anywhere that is slick on top - like my platform - make sure you rough it up first to give the adhesive something to grip into. If you put adhesive on top of the slick surface it will slough right off.

Thanks, JWS
Definately go the carpet adesive way, it is acutally cheaper than buyin 3M spray adesive.

This is what I used on mine. It works well and is pretty cheap.

Also says that the water won't damage it after curing for 5 days.
