Here is the finsihed engine box, with cup holders and vents, shower controls. I could not find the thread that i started with it sorry, i built the whole thing from scratch. And a coulple of pics after the waxing, and cleaning.

Thats amazing! Interior looks great, I like the shower controls! Where is the shower head located?

The shower head is under the sundeck so you can stand on the deck and use it.

Looks sweet! What did you cover it with? It has a carbonfiber look to the finish. I still have to do mine. I've got a quart of white gel coat I'm thinking of using.

That is tight.
I am curious where and what you used, I am too tight to fork over 150$+ for the cup holders...

Well in hindsight i was a little squeamish about the 150 price tag. But i will tell you i spent way more than that to make that piece. I started with the old piece and used it as a mold, taped it up and sprayed it with pam and then started glassing and matting it, 1 gallon of glass and a quart of kitty hair and a quart of body filler later and 5 evenings of sanding later, you get the picture. The vents are cheap perko vents from West Marine, the shower controls i made out of a 1/8th inch piece of alluminum, and flushed all of them in the body filler. The whole piece is wrapped in carbon fiber lookalike vinyl, as are the accents in my boat.
