I got a newsletter from Action Water and saw the LED light kit. How much does this cost? Is it worth having put in? Just need some opinions.

I'm sure you're going to get a lot of different opinions, but being in the trucking business I have found Truck-Lite to be the best. They're a little more $$$ but they are warranted for life.

I second that.. plus they have a really nice weathertite connection, that the lesser brands do not have...

Watch out low life bastards love to pop these high $$ lights out in the parking lot while you are out on the lake. I know someone who has been hit multiple time at multiple ramps. Even had someone take the time to swap out their standard lights for his LEDs.

88400095 (blue LED kit, different numbers for different colors) MYMC price $120...installation is not tough...we do it all the time and tie the lighting to the anchor light.

I don't know if this helps, but I did these in my old '04 X-2 speakers. The cost was a whopping $1.99 a piece.

If you want to use Truck-Lite they make an adapter for plug & play

just a thought.

If red and green are the nav lights in the front of the boat at night, would putting red lights pointing out the back of the boat cause any legal issues for those of you who ride on patrolled waters?

I have seen a ticket or two for having the LED light in the transom handrail, tower speakers, and cup holders. Our sheriff on the water isn't the most liked!

No, the white LED's were $50 each, as opposed to the $20 each for the red ones, so I kept the red ones on the fenders, just the way the trailer came stock. I do not think they put reverse lights into the fenders until the late 90's.
